What makes this photo a great abstract is that it is not a specific object and is unique. When you look at it, you don't imedietly recognize that it is a road, and it is open to interpretation. It has cracks and this adds texture to the photo. making it more abstract and unique. Peter LikThelight in this photograph is too bright and the face of the rocks would not have been lit up from that size and if taken on a film camera, all the light would radiate from the moon and the rocks would be very dark and not have that much details to them. On a film camera, to achieve this perfect lighting and perfect texture on the moon, its almost too perfect and it is highly possible it is photoshopped or altered in some way. I believe the photographer should be truthful on whether or not if this photo was altered or edited in any way because lying is not a good quality to have and other photographers can now claim their photos are unedited and lie. Blog Number 3I have never truly felt like Elizabeth Eckford and no one else can really feel how she did that day. My small comparison of an experience that could relate to Elizabeth is only that : A small experience and of very poor comparison. I have moved several times and starting at a new school made me feel like everyone was against me and I made myself a loner, allowing myself to become secluded and isolated. If I could say that Hazel in this photo represented life and I was Elizabeth, I would say so, for life seems to keep throwing nasty and insulting things my way. Blog Post 4This photograph is of Nubian Ibex along the mountain cliffs in Pakistan taken by the photographer Ameer Hamza Khawaja. What draws my attention to this photo are the Ibex and they are all in a line going up the cliffside. This photo makes me think of how life is a long road and this photo shows their climb and determination to survive.
